Job Cost Analysis
Job Cost Analysis
  • Compute the cost of a job at any time. The constant availability of this data can 'spotlight' potential problems giving you the ability to make any corrective actions needed.
  • Compute the costs of 'time and material' jobs. Move the profit percent up or down till you are satisfied with the number. When you are done, the system will place this price in the correct place for invoicing.
  • If you took a beating on a job, the system will let you indicate you want to change the price next time. It will not forget. It will warn you of this fact when you re-quote the job, and again at order entry (though late) if you have not acted on it.
  • Print supporting reports:
    -Estimates vs. Actual
    -Copy of the Financial Data
    -Production Reports
    -Job Charges
    -Open Purchase Orders
  • Compare the completed job to the quote. Quickly see how your estimate compares to the true cost of the job in areas including: Material and Sub-Contract Costs, Loaded Labor Costs, Setup Time, Run Time, Purchases and Overtime Costs.
  • Keep records of job charges (automatically or manually).
  • Overtime charges made to specific jobs.
  • The report of jobs shipped shows your income/hour.
  • Knowing the profit or loss on each job is so very important to the success of a business. Visual statistics about specific jobs can spotlight areas that require corrective action. The Job Cost Analysis system collects all the data related to the cost of the job: Bills (paid and unpaid), Purchase Orders, Labor Costs, Overhead, Invoiced Quantities, and Parts found in inventory.
